Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, downloading, or using any JeroGames application or website (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.
These Terms apply to all of our apps:
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and handle your data. Some sections of these Terms apply only to specific apps; where that is the case, we identify the app by name.
Eligibility
The Services are intended for users aged 13 and older (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). By using the Services, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Big Quiniela is a free-to-play prediction game intended for entertainment among friends. It is a skill-based game and not a real-money gambling product. See Private Groups for details on how prediction groups work.
Account & Sign-In
Most of our apps can be used without creating an account. Big Quiniela requires you to sign in with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google to participate in private groups and to maintain your standings across devices.
- Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information when signing in and to keep that information up to date. Your display name must comply with our conduct rules (see Leaderboards & Conduct).
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple ID or Google account you use to sign in. We are not responsible for any loss arising from unauthorized access to those accounts.
- One Account Per Person: You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent any limit, ban, or feature gating.
Account Deletion
You may delete your Big Quiniela account directly from within the app at any time: go to the More tab and tap Delete Account. Deletion removes or anonymizes your account profile, predictions, group memberships, and push notification tokens. Big Quiniela Pro is a one-time unlock tied to your Apple ID — see Big Quiniela Pro. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Use of the Services
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of any app or Service
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use any automated tools (bots, scripts, hacks) to manipulate scores, leaderboards, predictions, in-game currency, or gameplay
- Submit predictions on behalf of another person, or share your account credentials with another person
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services, including ad delivery, network traffic, servers, or databases
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or systems connected to them, or bypass Firebase App Check or other anti-abuse mechanisms
- Use the Services to distribute malware, spam, or any harmful content
- Use the Services to organize, advertise, or facilitate any illegal real-money gambling, betting, or wagering activity
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
Leaderboards & User Conduct
Several of our apps feature global leaderboards. In Big Quiniela, you also appear in standings within each private group you join. Your display name is visible to other group members and, where applicable, to other players on global leaderboards.
You agree that your display name, group name, or any other publicly visible text will not:
- Contain offensive, abusive, discriminatory, hateful, or sexually explicit language
- Include spam, advertising, or misleading content
- Impersonate another person, brand, or entity
- Contain personal information of others (phone numbers, emails, addresses)
- Promote real-money gambling, betting services, or any illegal activity
You also agree to interact respectfully with other members of any private group you join, and not to harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to remove any user from leaderboards or private groups, delete inappropriate display names or group names, reset scores obtained through cheating, restrict access to leaderboard or group features, or suspend or terminate accounts — without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
Private Groups (Big Quiniela)
Big Quiniela lets you create or join private prediction groups with friends, family, or coworkers. Each group has its own real-time leaderboard so members can compete based on the accuracy of their match predictions.
How Private Groups Work
The creator of a group receives a six-character invite code that can be shared with the people they want to play with. Anyone with the code can join the group and submit predictions. Within a group, members see each other's display names, accumulated points, and ranking position — but never each other's pending predictions for upcoming matches.
Big Quiniela Is a Skill-Based Prediction Game, Not Gambling
Big Quiniela is a free-to-play game in which users predict the outcomes of publicly scheduled football (soccer) matches and earn points based on accuracy. Points have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash or prizes from JeroGames, and cannot be transferred between accounts. The Services do not collect, hold, transfer, or process money in any form. The Services do not constitute gambling, betting, wagering, fantasy sports for prizes, or any similar regulated activity.
You agree not to use private groups to organize or facilitate any activity that would be illegal in your jurisdiction. JeroGames may, at its sole discretion and without notice, remove any group, group member, or group name that we believe is being used in a way that violates these Terms.
Match Data & Scoring
Big Quiniela displays information about football (soccer) matches — including teams, kickoff times, venues, and final results — for the purpose of letting users submit and score predictions. This match data is sourced from publicly available information about the FIFA World Cup tournament and may be entered, corrected, or updated by JeroGames.
- We make reasonable efforts to keep match data accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is error-free, complete, or up-to-the-second.
- If a match result is corrected after scores have been computed, we may re-run scoring and adjust standings accordingly.
- Predictions are scored automatically based on the rules described in-app. Scoring rules may be adjusted between tournament editions.
- JeroGames is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, any football federation, any league, any team, or any player.
In-App Purchases
Some of our apps offer optional in-app purchases (such as coin packs, hint bundles, ad removal, themed content packs, or — in Big Quiniela — additional prediction "card packs"). All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. JeroGames does not receive or store your full payment details.
- Final Sales: Consumable purchases (such as card packs) are final once the content has been delivered or consumed in-app, except as required by applicable app store policies or law.
- Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to the Apple App Store. JeroGames cannot process refunds directly.
- Restoring Purchases: You can restore previously purchased non-consumable items (such as the Big Quiniela Pro unlock) on a new device using the "Restore Purchases" option available within each app. Keep your purchase receipts for reference.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Existing one-time purchases are not affected by future price changes — once you have purchased the Big Quiniela Pro unlock, you keep it.
Big Quiniela Pro (One-Time Unlock)
Big Quiniela offers an optional one-time in-app purchase called Big Quiniela Pro that unlocks additional features (such as increased private group limits and an ad-free experience). The exact features and price are shown in-app at the point of purchase, in accordance with Apple's display requirements.
- One-Time Purchase: Big Quiniela Pro is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. There is no auto-renewal and no recurring billing.
- Billing: Your Apple ID account will be charged once at the price shown at the time of purchase. No further charges are made after the initial purchase.
- Restoring Pro: The Pro unlock is tied to your Apple ID through StoreKit. If you reinstall the app, switch devices, or sign in on another device with the same Apple ID, you can recover your Pro unlock at no additional cost by tapping Restore Purchases in the Paywall screen.
- Refunds: Refund requests for in-app purchases must be directed to the Apple App Store. JeroGames cannot process refunds directly.
- Account Deletion & Pro: Deleting your Big Quiniela in-app account does not affect your Pro unlock, because Pro is tied to your Apple ID — not your in-app account. You can sign back in later (or on another device) and tap Restore Purchases to recover Pro.
- Future Changes: If we offer additional Pro features in the future, they will be included for users who already purchased Pro at no additional cost. We reserve the right to change pricing for new purchasers, but existing Pro users keep their unlock at the price they paid.
Advertising & Rewards
Our apps may display advertisements, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads served through Google AdMob or similar networks.
- Rewarded ads (e.g., watching a video to earn in-game coins or to unlock a temporary feature) are entirely optional and require your explicit action each time.
- Rewards are granted only upon successful and complete ad viewing as confirmed by the ad network. If an ad fails to load or is interrupted, the reward may not be granted.
- We reserve the right to change, modify, or discontinue any reward amounts, ad placements, or ad-related features at any time without prior notice.
- You agree not to use ad blockers, automated tools, or other means to manipulate, interfere with, or fraudulently trigger ad impressions or rewards.
- The Big Quiniela Pro one-time unlock removes most advertising from the app permanently for that Apple ID.
User Content
If you submit any content to us — including feedback, suggestions, bug reports, display names, group names, predictions, or any other material — you grant JeroGames a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.
You represent and warrant that any content you submit does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any applicable law, and that you have the necessary rights to grant the license described above.
Intellectual Property
All content, code, graphics, UI design, game mechanics, scoring rules, logos, trademarks, and other materials related to the Services are the property of JeroGames or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our prior written consent.
FIFA, the FIFA World Cup name and logos, country names, team names, and other tournament-related marks referenced in Big Quiniela are the property of their respective owners. JeroGames is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA or any other rights holder.
Third-Party Services
Our apps integrate third-party services including Firebase (by Google), Google AdMob, the Google Sign-In SDK, the Apple App Store, and Apple's Sign in with Apple service. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. JeroGames is not responsible for the practices or availability of any third-party service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice if:
- You violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct
- We reasonably believe your actions may cause harm to other users, the Services, or JeroGames
- It is required for security, technical, or operational reasons
- Required by law or regulatory authority
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. You may also voluntarily terminate your Big Quiniela account at any time via the in-app Delete Account flow (see Account & Sign-In). Termination does not automatically refund any in-app purchase. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) will remain in effect.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
JeroGames does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that match data, scores, or standings will be free of inaccuracies. You use the Services at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JeroGames and its owner, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JeroGames and its owner from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the competent courts of Mexico City, Mexico.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
